It looks good, but be aware that NONE of the special offers apply to this system. i.e. you don`t get the free delivery, the double memory or the flat panel upgrade. Hence it`s not £269 including delivery, instead the total comes out at £373.65 inc. VAT due to Dell`s fantastic delivery charge.

Dell are still offering double memory (512 MB) and a 17" Flat Panel monitor for £328 including VAT and shipping. The E-value code is onl-D02302a, enter it here. This is with an 80 GB hard drive, standard 48x CD-ROM, no floppy or speakers.

thanks for the link, hope it all pans out.

i thought this was a good deal, until i realised i wanted to add a few extras... in the end it was cheaper to upgrade to a Dimension 5000 @ £650 (with extras)...

(D02506a), + Logitech Cordless Desktop, + 48XCd-Rom, + 3.5" Floppy, -Speakers (as i already have a better set)!
