WHS deal sounds interesting, but it requires a code from a flyer to secure the reduced price at checkout - I`m sure someone will post the relevant code in time. I also suspect that the code will be different each week.

A feeling in my bones says that the PC World deal is probably going to prove to be a damp squib. However, it would be nice to be proven wrong!

They are copying Woolworths` 10% off days.

WHSmith are getting beaten s***less by Woolworths at the moment, I would say they will go out of business after yet another poor Christmas performance.

PC World ...

How do they get away with it?

Brother HL1430 for 79.99- claim that the normal price is 159.99, yet on PC World Business the price is 84.00 (excluding VAT - 98.20 inc) - so it`s a saving of £20, not £80 as they claim.

And they have had theSamsung ML1510 laser printer on for 39.99 all last week (ran out of stock quickly) - now theyve bumped it up to 68.64 in anticipation of this 50% thingy saying the in store price was 99.99.

This is rubbish as I saw them in store for 49.99 two days ago. I then decided I wanted one, so no way was I going to buy it from PCWorld - ordered it from Office World for 49.99 with free p&p!
