Hmmm just had another look they arnt availablt to buy till the 15th? Odd i wonder if they`ve changed the packaging to something inferior?

The family guy one has existed for some time :(, maybe a Simpsons one will come out soon?
I saw the Futurama one advertised in this months Bizarre mag. There was also a 3rd rock from the sun ad which showed a huge box for all of them, but stated series 3 and 4 (I think) out next year. Not that I`m interested, but it`s a good idea to state they will release later series, rather than not knowing whether to buy it if you`re "all or nothing" :)

Saying that though they have all 6 series at Play anyway, so I don`t know what the ad was talking about!

DVD Soon have Simpsons season 1 for about £12 here but of course its R1 and also seem to have a lot less in terms of extras:

Does anyone know how long they`ll be at £14.99 for?

I reckon it`s an embargoed promotion, ala Fox did with the Buffy sets in May. Probably the exact same thing as the full price, but i doubt it`ll be on for long. Run up to Xmas i expect.

I read that the promo will run from 15th Nov until xmas and that the sets were supposed to be BOGOF at £20. If it was £30 that would explain why Play have got them at £14.99 each.

Just got this email from Play regarding the sets

Dear Customer,

Many thanks for your email.

These promotional box sets are supplied by a different releasing supplier and as such we have to wait until the box sets can be delivered to us before we are able to dispatch the orders to our customers.

There are no differences between the box sets currently available and the promotional copies, the only difference lies in the price.
