`As New` 32" Toshiba Picture Frame TV £719.99 Delivered

These are factory refurbs sold `As New` by www.shopbyprice.co.uk

I have wanted one of these for ages but could never justify the £1200 price tag. I spotted these people on the web with the 32ZP38-AN (the AN bit means As New) and after a few emails to them to try and make sure I wasn`t going to get ripped off, I took the plunge.

I ordered on the Saturday night and the TV arrived on Tuesday. Toshiba box and original packaging with a white label on the side saying `As New Factory Refurbished`. Unfortunately this first set did have slight picture fault. The wife said I was seeing things but it had to go. Today (Friday) I received a replacement `as new` set. This one is perfect so far and comes with a 12 month guarantee if anything should go wrong. I still think it was worth it even having to send the first one back as the price is even cheaper than I`ve seen on Ebay!

Anyway, I`m delighted and have a £1200 TV for a net £520, (sold my relatively new Panny for £200! :D ) and my Videologic Dolby surround system will be appearing on Ebay very soon, might even get £20 for that!!!!

Have a look on the site there`s lots of other things on there that I can`t comment about, but make sure you know exactly what it is you`re buying.

I`m seriously considering the replacement for your TV,the 32ZP48.
Most retailers are doing a free Toshiba SD340 DVD player with it for around the £930 mark.
Sell the DVD player for £70 on ebay and the TV has cost just £860 ! :D

Hi Andy/Cookie,

Looking for a 32" TV and very interested in this one, can someone let me know about this retailer, and how you have found the TV?

Cheers

Andy, the Videologic system you`re talking about isn`t one of the "Digitheatre" packages is it??

If so, then what did you think of it? I have one and it now sits in my mates Living Room. I gave it to him for nowt as I couldn`t wait to get rid of it.....in my opinion the 2 tv speakers on my old Sony were so superior. Ok for pc, crap for tv I reckon - if we`re talking about the same thing then I reckon ebay is the only place where people are mad enough to want to part witgh their hard-earned for it! Good luck selling.

**oh, and by the way, great spot. I have now got a 32" Tosh (the this framed version) and I have never been happier. Kicks my Mums Philips & my Brother in Laws Wegas arses. I will definitely be buying Tosh next time around.....**

Hi all, sorry for the delay I thought this thread was well dead! Anyway, I`m still delighted with my bargain Tosh 32" TV.

Cookie - The first one they sent me had an odd line about a quarter of the way down the screen all the way across. You could see it straight away when I first switched on and it was really clear on solid bright backgrounds. They changed the set straight away, no quibbles at all. Have you got yours yet?

Nelsondublin - My experience of shopbyprice was excellent, answered all my emails within a day or so, and exchanged the TV no questions asked.

Butterfield - Yes it was a Digitheatre, I thought it was OK, then I had nothing to compare it against and it was my first system. The integrated system in this TV seems to have more depth in the sound and the speakers seem to be of a better quality. A chap at work bought the Digitheatre off me for his brother for £30!

Thanks Andy,

The service has been excellent so far and I have been kept fully up to date with progress. Delivery is scheduled for Fri(10/9th) or following Monday.

If the set is as good as I am hoping (and I do believe you would have to be quite unlucky to receive an unacceptable item) I will be another very satisfied customer.

Surround sound wise I currently have the Aego P5 so will be interested to see how the 32ZP38`s compares to such an excellent system.

Let you know..........

It is indeed, saw them last night, row 8. Awesome, Immense etc, etc prepare for a hell of a night. Wish I had seen them in the NEC now though, f*cking hate London, nothing personal, but the place sucks big time. How anyone can enjoy the area in any way defies logic, I would be happy never to have to go there again.

But I digress :) TV arriving Monday.

BTW What about hooking my P5 speakers up to the TV, shame there is no output for the SWoofer, they have composit cables but could perhaps snip off the ends to hook up to the TV speaker connections (save pulling up the carpets!) if deemed worth it. Can anyone advise??
