LG 3350E QUESTION TIME

jedthened (Competent) posted this on Wednesday, 28th March 2001, 18:36

Hi folks new to the game would like some honest answers

Just seen a review of lg 3350e and what a corker sorry awia man
but it beats you {but only just},Have lg 3000e at the moment but only on
trail {know what i mean} also have lg 2330p but its too old now{anyone
want to buy it offers please} still works but i want a change.

Does anybody have any R.C.E. disks that they play on the lg3350 or
lg3000e and are they ok

Wheres the best[cheapest [what a cheapskate]] to buy a 3550e and is
it available cos i have looked everywhere up here and nowt

lg3000e is not a vast improvement on the 2330p but it does play matrix
without skipping and repeating in the lobby scene{whoopss i shouldnt
have said that if i want to sell it} but its not that bad, honest just a couple of other things like it doesnt like id4 and the abyss but they could of been faulty disks as they were from blockies

thanks a bunch jedthened

I`ve been looking at this machine over the last few week`s,at this time I have the Sony 725d multi/reg but it dont play rce dvd`s and its going to cost another £60 to have it re-chipped,god how many time`s do you have to keep chipping!!!.
I think I`ll sell the Sony, hopefully get £250 for it and buy the LG3500e,it`s a great looking machine just hope it play`s as good as it look`s.

I think you`ll find if you visit http://www.lgdvd.co.uk LG3350e can be hacked to play VCD`s

I wish I had stayed with mine now, as the Pioneer 636 I have now pauses when the dvd changes layers, which I don`t rememner happening on the LG.

They must be down in price now and are really good players for the money and have many features that dearer brand named players don`t have

Last year was a bad year for me, with computers and DVD Players.....I bought a LG3200e from Blockbusters and had nothing but trouble with it, took it back and got a LG3350e from Currys (say no more) and everytime I played a dvd, I could hear a whirring sound. Same noise as IT Troll put on another thread.

Just a case of twice bitten, I became a bit shy. But realise that I was just unlucky to get two bad machines............Though I would still recommend the LG 3350e to people looking for a good player

Hi Jedthened,
I own the LG3350E and if you look on this site you`ll see a hack to allow VCD`s to be played. You have to be a little careful entering it, but it works fine, as I had a magazine VCD (Shaft sampler) that previously wouldn`t play, and now it does! Also, the multi-region hack works perfectly, and although I haven`t tried one, I hear that RCE encoded disks work fine also. This is one great DVD player, and I see no reason to not buy one. I`m extremely happy with mine!
Regards,
Dodgy.

Hey Jedthened all I can say is....
LG3350E Rules... get it... best player on the market for the price that it is... especially at Dabs.... I hear they`ve sorted out their delivery system and get them to people on time now..plus they are only about £170 on there me thinks (don`t hold me to that as I haven`t checked lately.).

If you need anymore info on the player, check out IT Trolls website as it tells you everything you need to know..

Oh. by the way
LG3350E officially Rocks.....forget Awia
