SVP offer 99p delivery until England score a goal in Euro 2004

...and their first match is this weekend. Judge for yourselves whether you should take advantage of this offer quickly!

It is also to be welcomed that the 99p delivery actually includes Northern Ireland for once. Well done SVP!

EDIT: apologies for the confusion. I just got the email from SVP about this before I left for work and although I was in a hurry, I wanted to at least flag it up before fleshing out the details later.

You have to be a member of their `buyers club` - ie sign up for their mailing list which is free and, in my opinion, worthwhile. There are frequent free or cheap offers exclusively for buyers club members.

For those who don`t know, SVP (also known as Blank Disc Shop) sell blank media, CD/DVD writers and other accessories/peripherals. They are competitively priced.

It`s in the SVP Newsletter, which I`ve copied and pasted below.

Hello
As some of you may already know, I don`t need much of an excuse to mention football, and it would be beyond my self control not to mention it today.

In search of a way to link our business to Euro 2004 we came up with this twist on a theme we have used many times before.
99p shipping until England score a goal in Euro 2004.

Their first chance is vs France - June 12th.
If they don`t score in their first game their second game is vs Switzerland - 17th June.
If they don`t score in their first 2 games their third group game is vs Croatia - 21st June.
If (and please don`t this happen) England get knocked out without scoring a goal, we`ll do 99p shipping until the end of the Euro 2004 final!

If you are a regular customer I`m sure you know the routine for 99p shipping by now!
99p Shipping on all orders over 30
This will be a significant saving for many customers compared to the normal cost of our Economy Shipping - 3.99+ VAT.

This offer is for customers from the UK mainland and Northern Ireland.
For us to ship your goods for this bargain price, we need your order to be over 30 inc VAT.
When you place your order, you will see a new delivery option:

Buyers Club UK (30+) (84p + VAT) or Buyers Club NI (30+) (84p + VAT)

This is the option you choose in order to get the 99p shipping.

Goods shipped on the 99p shipping option will take between 1and 4 working days to be delivered. (Working days do not include weekends)
This is a limited time offer.
Start: 2pm Friday 11th June.
Finish: As soon as England score in Euro 2004

There are no other strings attached to this offer.
Just place an order for over 30 and get a reduced shipping charge. Simple as that.

Feel free to tell everyone what we are doing but ask them to join our Buyers Club - it costs nothing

So there you have it, better get the bulk orders in!

Anil
