Not exactly the same thing as the original post eh?? is this one of your amazing bargains then?
"Call me cynical, but I have never seen any bargains on the SKYBUY site.
All the TV`s they sell are cheap JVC rubbish that you can buy the same price anywhere.
DVD players are much cheaper elsewhere.
Yes, I have looked in the clearance section and the normal electrical section.
I think you guys have blinkers on"
"talkshop you should change your handle to talkbollocks!"

@ZZRMATT
It`s a bargain and it`s an LCD TV
What is your problem
P.S
Hope you are happy with your dusty TV`s from SkyBuy that are NOT bargains :D
talkshop,
I have so far had from skybuy delivered with little or no problems
JVC 28" prologic TV & Stand £209.50 (a bargain)
Akai 21" TV & Stand £74.99
Maxim Progressive scan DVD Player £24.99
Sony 5.1 Digital Headphones £160.00
Samsung VHS/DVD 5.1 with RDS tuner £175.00
I don`t think you`ll be able to find these cheaper anywhere else delivered!
As I said in the skybuy thread I think it`s just sour grapes on your behalf....
I've even bought the 10 dvd`s for £11.99 now down to £9.99 and got enjoyment out of the Stargate DVD last night on my panny ae500!
I have still to come one 28" Toshiba TV and two Toshiba 15" LCD`s with progressive Scan input including free DVD player with 102 films. Where oh where can you get these items any cheaper?
talkshop why do you still try to rubbish these unmistakeable bargains?
Richer sounds are doing an LG 20`` for £562.95

what?!?!?!
I think the problem is, TalkSh**, that the original poster was highlighting what they considered a bargain for an LCD screen around the £600 mark. What you are suggesting is one nearer £2000. If you think it is a bargain then perhaps you should put it under a new post so that people in the £2000 market for an LCD screen won`t miss the opportunity of such a good buy.
And I think you`ll find that the dust mentioned on goods from SkyBuy was, in the main, on the boxes not the TVs. But this was more than made up for by the price reduction of (usually) 50%. Though there was not a spec of dust on any of my purchases.
I bought the 20in Beko today in-store from Currys for £499.99 (out of stock on the website) and I am very impressed with it.
2x scart inputs
1x S-video input
1x VGA input for PC (lead supplied)
normal RF-style aerial input
composite (3x phono leads) RGB input
audio output if needed.
Fastext and Nicam stereo.
I`m using it for both TV and PC so it does everything I want for a good price. A lot of other LCD TVs/monitors have very few input options and when you have a PC, digital box, DVD player and Xbox all begging to be plugged in, you need as many connections as you can get.
PS if I was going to spend nearly two grand on a TV I`d be more inclined to get this 42in plasma for £1699.95 from Richer Sounds than the 30in option mentioned above which costs £100 more. ;-)
