Our Price - closing down bargains

Lakeuk (Competent) posted this on Saturday, 21st February 2004, 15:10

The offers maybe different in each store but all these shops close down at the end of Feb, in the Kendal store its currently 50% off all clearance prices including cds, dvds, mobile phones.

I`ve was wanting a payg mobile, but they only had the phones but had run out of virgin sim service packs, anyone know if these phones are tide to virgin or can I use any providers payg sim. plus where can i get the cheapest payg sim.

Thanks

I missed all the bargains, my local one closed down 2 weeks ago...lol

although I did get my phone there a while ago and yeah it was `locked` onto virgin but I had mine unlocked at the local market the same day for a tenner (theres loads of places that do it now..and prolly cheaper) so I could still use my vodafone sim. I did use the virgin sim...but only to use the free £5 of calls that came with it :D

as far as a cheap payg sim, I dunno...I was happy to stay with my old sim (and number) lots of shops do `sim only` packs now so when you know what you want it wont be hard to get one and then get the phone unlocked for that sim...

They were selling a nokia 3410 for £25 (normal price £69.99) but they had run out of the virgin service pack, so would need to buy one of those else where. Was just worried that I could only buy a virgin service pack for the phone.

As far as I know, Virgin Mobile is a virtual network that runs on T Mobiles network. So you may find you could use a T Mobile sim in it straight away.
