Anyone got this from the US - did u get stung by customs ?

I`ve never used dvdsoon b4 - what are they like ?

Price is very appealing.....must resist......LOL

My sister is living in Canada this year so I usually just get the DVDs sent to her place and collect them when she comes back every few months or someone visits her out there (might as well save on postage as I don`t mind waiting).

However, I have had several orders sent directly to me and it seems that DVDSoon persistently make `mistakes` on the customs declaration regarding the value of the goods (my CA$30 discs were all marked as CA$12 if I remember correctly). Read into that what you will.

No more "mistakes" unfortunately :(
Now they send out with actual price. Just had my Lost in Space boxset through - £4.34 vat and £4 to the post office for allowing me the pleasure of driving 10 miles to pick up the parcel.

I ordered the Alien Quadrilogy boxed set from DVDSoon.com on 3 February and opted for the free delivery option. It arrived this morning, very well packed and it is absolute magic!

The package was labelled up with a Customs Declaration stating the correct value, CAD 80.98, but I didn`t have to pay any additional tax or duty. I guess its just luck whether you get nailed or not.

This was my first order from DVDSoon and I`m well impressed.
