Page 1 of Hard Boiled and The Phone £7.99 at cdwow and Anamorphic?

Of course you can get them cheaper using the money off links or using their Hong Kong site. According to dddhouse.com Hard Boiled is and i quote "Digitally Remastering from HD Master". Ive not seen this on any other dvd release but the pic quality seems very poor to me with numerous film artefacts. Advertised as anamorphic as well which i know is supposed to be a good thing but can anybody tell me exactly what that means? Cheers.

I`ve ordered Hard Boiled from dddhouse for just over £8 but haven`t received it yet so I can`t comment on the picture quality (although it`s hard to imagine it being worse than the region 2 Tartan release), it also has DTS sound but again I can`t comment on that. Mine should be here in the next couple of days. As for anamorphic basically it means enhanced for widescreen TV`s so that instead of enlarging the picture to fill the screen it uses all the lines to make up the picture by expanding the picture vertically and then stretching it horizontally.

Just tried out Hard Boiled, and the picture is ok, but there are a few white small specs here and there. The sound is cool tho.

Is the sound just DTS or is there 5.1?

Both DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 but the DTS is much better.
