I think if you look you`ll find peeps saw a message a short while ago detailing a cheaper camera from them, and this one was mentioned as being superior, so people knew about it, including me.

I knew it was a great bargain, and have been thinking about getting one. Well, seeing as you reminded me, I just this minute bought one from them, paying with my trusty debit card.

Makes a change buying something with cash rather than the well worn credit card! ;)

Thanks for the heads up, I do think this camera is going to be rather good...

Which one is it guys? My lads birthday on Monday so if you get back to me today and O order it from the site, is it likely to arrive by Saturday (In time to wrap up etc) or am I better off going to somewhere like Jessops on the High St and walking out with a slightly dearer but "in my hand" camera. Info greatly appreciated.
Thanks n` all the best...F...

Paul, do we know if the LCD screen is a colour preview screen or just a readout of no. of pics taken?

Mike.

Hi all, Got the ALDI one for my lad in the end as it came as a complete package, batteries, leads, charger, MGI Photosuite and the 16MB card, power lead etc.
Happy as a bag of happy things so far but...the TFT emits a (admittedly low) "squealing" kind of sound. We have another camera that has a screen but doesn`t make this sound. Now the photos and everything else to do with this camera so far are great and this is more of annoyance, I just wondered if anybody else who has bought one of these has found the same or would I be best advised to exchange it?
Thanks for bearing with me, any assistance greatly appreciated.
All the best...Flyer...
