I don`t know if this game is any good, but it`s £38.99 at play, so for 9 quid plus postage it`s got to be wprth taking a chance on.

Can anyone tell me if this game is any good? For £10 it seems a little too good to be true! Can you guys post an opinion when you recieve the game. Cheers.

I should imagine by the time I get the game the offer will be gone, takes between 1-2 weeks for delivery.

But for the price its worth buying anyway, could always sell it on if you dont like it! Its **£39** at Play!

The game is nothing to scream about, but for £8.99 it`s not bad as the `cube has very few titles out (and 90% of them I would not want to buy anyway).

However, add P&P and at £10.98 the offer is not so hot. I had bought Wrestlemania x8 from the Virgin sale (see my post in bargain buckets) but it was soooo bad I had to return it to get back my money! And that was only £14.99!!!

The ratings give it 4 out of 10, but some silly mares have given it up to 8 out of 10 making the average score well to high for a piece of poo!

Huh, £10.98 the offer is not so hot?

You do know its £39 in Play and many other online store havent got it cheaper than £35.

Anyhow do you actually have this game?

Still a good bargain in my books!

I am just letting you know the opinions of the gaming world, post a link to this thread in the Console forum or read some of the reviews from the link I posted to get a more general consesus.

Just because something is cheap it does not mean it is good. The fact that companies can sell GC or any console game at £35 one day and £11 the next only shows that we are being ripped off.

If you have got young kids then they will like it as they know no better, but it will insult your intelligence. Take a look at the links on my thread and you can buy Burnout - a much, much better driving game - for only £3-4 more. Surely this will make sense.

I only have your best interests at heart. If none of the above convinces you, then ask yourself - why have they resorted to it selling it at that price? Because it really is that bad they are having to (almost) give it away.

Gamestation are selling Eternal Darkness for £20 brand new. Everyone raves about that.

If all else fails, buy it, leave it to collect dust and then trade-it in at Game when something else comes out.

Just don`t do it man!

P.S. It is a bloody good bargain, keep `em comming. It`s just not worth it on this occassion!

Hugo, have u you played the game yourself? Or are you just goung on what other sites and reviewers have said, I think Nintendo magazine gave Burnout 9 out of 10, i rented it a little while ago and thought it was awful, the replays just slowed the momentum of the game down and really made it bad as a racing game.

Only played it briefly and had a couple of replies in the Console forum too.

As I mentioned, the good thing is you can trade-it in and make back your money so you can make back your money. CEX will buy it for £11 squids too.

If you have a young kid, get it. If it is for you, get Super Monkey Ball which has an excellent racing game in it too. I didn`t like Burnout either, but if you wont spend £16 on a highly rated game why would you spend £11 on a poorly rated game.

I think some Game shops will let you try it out too.

I agree that if you don`t like it you can more than make your money back by trading it in at Game or CEX, so you could save some money on a really decent game and play this for a while for free.

As to other decent games to check out, do buy Eternal Darkness it is very very good and gets better the more you get into the game, better than resident evil and I love that game as well. Of course if it is for a kiddy check out Starfox looks great but the puzzles are simple so should be ideal.
