Is it the best deal on the 36ZD26P? I don`t know, probably not as empire direct.co.uk are selling the 36ZD26B.

I`m not sure what the one difference in the model number means, but they useually mean something. They are not the same TV as other sites also have `P` and `B` as alternative endings.

Also, robertsons-online.co.uk have the 36ZD26P at £1200 INCLUDING delivery. As empiredirect do not advertise free delivery I can only assume they charge. For a 36 inch TV that is delivery driver cripplingly heavy, I imagine the delivery charge would not be insignificant.

Not sure on the difference between P and B, but Empire wanted £50 delivery when I just stuck it in my basket and told it to calculate delivery.

Also, the Robertsons-online page doesn`t seem to have any letter on the end, it just quotes it as 36ZD26 as the model number. Doesn`t specify warranty length either, but since Empire`s is only 1 year it`ll be at least as long...

The "P" and "B" suffix relate to the type of electricity you feed it.

"P" stands for Pan-european and "B" for Britain.

Even then, there is no real difference really, if ever you wished to lug something this heavy to the Continent, it can be simply altered in the setup.

That`s some good knowledge.

At least it`s a better price than the £1900! quoted by dixons. You do get `free` delivery though. That`s a rediculous price. It says something about British consumers that Dixons is the biggest electrical shop in the country.

`Rip off Britain` happens because most people are plonkers.
