Page 1 of Buffy Season 5 £32.99??????!!!!!!

just found this (sorry if already posted!) but splash dvd (www.splashdvd.com) have Buffy S5 up for preorder for just £32.99!
this seems remarkably cheap, i cant order because i dont know if they charge on shipping but this seems a huge bargain

Looks like they have only just started doing boxsets as they never used to do titles over £18.

Shipping is free (UK and Europe). They are based in Jersey (like Play), they can be a little bit slow if a title is popular but I have always received all dvds that I have ordered from them.

(they regulary have price wars with Play)

I have always found splash to be a pretty good company. In my experience they certainly do charge on despatch, not before........ good news

I have never had any problems with SplashDVD either.... great spot! Have just ordered mine!

Just out of curiosity. does anyone know why the Buffy R1 DVDs are released so much later than the R2 versions?

I might be wrong ...but it`s cos of some law in America, whereby they can only release stuff (ie. T.v. shows) on dvd after a set amount of years have elapsed.

Hope that makes sense.

BTW: Buffy Season 5 has gone back to normal price at Splash (£58.99). Order history still shows the lower £32.99 price, so lets hope they honour it

They are charging for this NOW at £32.99 so it seems they are honouring it, and it should be shipping soon!!
