Monsters Inc - Oz or USA i.e. Region 4 or Region 1

Where is best to pre-order Monsters Inc.

Australia or US/Canada?

I prefer region 4 because it is PAL.

What are the differences in content?

Thanks

Can anyone tell me what frame sizes etc. on the one
disk version that I am looking at in Oz?

is it just 4:3? or 1:1/85 or both?

Why bother pre-ordering it ?

I`m sure someone like Dixons will have a 1 day only special offer ( like they did for Harry Potter ) and sell it for something like £9.99

Erm, good call aldo, how many people actually get these fantastic 1 day offers from Dixons etc(sold out of the 5 copies at branch within 2 mins)?????

The advantage to pre-ordering is so that some online companys can mass order on release of a huge movie hence getting mass order prices from the distributer, do u c :)

I ordered monster inc R1 from Futureent 5 months ago at what I reckoned to be a pretty bloody good £12.99 delivered.

well the Disney store has got this "pre-order" offer at the moment.

Getting a friend to pre-order that, and buying the Disney DVD from Australia for the PAL part (only cosing £9.99 downunder.) getting it from devoted.com.au

But one thing. I went into the Disney store today in Cardiff and they had "BIG POSTERS" saying "last chance to buy Snow White on DVD / VHS until it disappear for a decade? I swear I read that they have now stop this practice for DVD`s? Or I am wrong there? (which also bring if they are starting to do this, might be worth getting the other DVD`s whilst they cheap and easy to get.

R4 and R1 appear to be the same in terms of features, so I would say go for the PAL disc, especially if it`s cheaper.
