Aren`t Maxell CD-Rs supposed to be as dodgy as any random bloke in a pub who sells you knocked off gear ?

Maybe they are, but say the fifth disk fails Safeway will refund you your £2.99 AND give you another pack of disks FREE.
Doubt bloke in pub will.

Morrisons have been selling the Maxell CD-R 80 HL-S at £6.99 for one box of 10 but you get 10 free. Which is about £3.50 for 10
Work well for me and at £2.99 even better buy

i got these from safeway a few weeks ago around stoke but are 74 mins and not 80, good for 10 i suppose but if you have a good look at some sites bigpockets / 7dayshop etc and don`t mind 50 or 100 you get a better deal

Well if Maxell cdrs are dodgy,it must only be a recent,when I had access to a Marantz DR 6000 in my old place of work I was using 5-6 Audio versions a week!You dont mean Maxwell do you?
