Can I disable macrovision on a daewoo dch2200k dvd. if so how?

I had the same problem with a Daewoo dvd Player. I sent it back for a software upgrade, which they did free of charge..
I suggest you do the same...

Nope .it don`t work.
Mines been back to daewoo 3 times for software changes due to subtitles keep coming on as default and still no macrovision.
region bypassing a bit long winded dhc2200k
Anyone know a quicker way to bypass region coding, the only one that works is on a later firmware version, and you can`t see whats happening, until you go through another sequence of key`s to debug check.
it`s a bit of a pain and i`m a lazy ###.

Anyone know how to switch of the macrovision on the dch2200k players tried the one on the listed hacks and it did`nt work...

If you can manually select individual regions then RCE won`t affect you, BUT if your dvd is set to bypass region coding then you have a problem....

HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY NEW DVD PLAYER WITH EITHER UNABLE TO SWITCH OFF SUBTITLES, OR HAVING PROBLEMS READING ROOT DIRECTORY, ANYONE ELSE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS. I`VE HAD TWO PLAYERS NOW AND BOTH FAULTY.
