Are you using Win Xp Service pack 2?...because when u install that, it automatically deletes windows messenger...otherwise go to control panel==>add/remove programs==>and on the left you should see a tab called add/remove windows components..click on it...keep moving down the list untill you see windows messenger and take the tick off it and click next.. hopefully this helps
