Took a movie on my digi camera. Unfortunately AVI file is too big to email so was wondering if anyone out their could tell me if and how to split the file so I can email it on. I`ve tried emailing it and get a warning saying file too big. Thanks Niteowl

theres a program u can download from download.com called easy video splitter very easy to use....try it out

VirtualDub can do it pretty easily, whilst maintaining the codecs used in the file. You just set the start & end points and select the "direct stream copy" options for video & audio and then save the avi.

Thanks for info, any chance of a link to virtualdub - tried one but "page can`t be found" came up.
Also, is Quote: easy video freeware? I found a trial site for 7 days and $19USD there after, which would be okay as I only have 2 files I want to split.
