red dwarf on dvd????????????

does anybody know if there are any plans to release red dwarf on dvd.
either on r1 or r2.

difficult to explain without givin to much away about the film.At the end of chapter 3 before 1 of the first of many killings it skips to the next chapter so you dont see the actual killing also the same happens at the end of chapter 4.i thought it might be a fault on the disc so tried it on a differnet player and it worked perfect.if you try and fast forward the scene it just freezes the disc until you play the scene and then skips to the next chapter.i may have a faulty disc but it is wierd that it plays on other machines.I have never had a problem with any other films even rce coded discs so i may email dddhouse and see what they suggest.

strange thing is it works perfect on a samsung 709 and a smart 2000.its really wierd that it works on 1 make of samsung but not the other.it would be worth the risk for £8.90 cause thats all it cost.

i ordered battle royal last week and came today.total of 7 days.first time i have used them and very pleased with the results.the film is fantastic but it has problems working on a samsung 511 keeps skipping a couple of chapters.any body else have probs on there machine let me know.

the apparent echo problem is i think supposed to be there.it only happens when the person who is a werewolf is speaking.if you listen carefully it dissapears when the other people talk.
the canadian r1 version has a load more extras on it but i dont think it is out till october.also not sure if the r4 one is cut as,without givin to much away,i have seen a still on bullets and babes web site that i dont remeber being in the film.really enjoyed it makes a change from all the sequels coming out at the moment.

I THOUGHT THE FILM WAS BRILL.I AGREE ABOUT THE ENDING BUT IT DIDNT SPOIL THE WHOLE FILM IT WAS MORE LAUGHABLE THAN ANY THING ELSE,ALL THAT WAS MISSING WAS HIS EYEBROW RAISE THAT HE DOES SO WELL
.ALSO WAS THE HEADBUTT FROM RACHEL WEISZ THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE CUT OUT STILL IN THERE OR HAS IT BEEN TONED DOWN FROM WHAT IT ORIGINALLY WAS????

like everybody else i paid £17-99 for t2:edition. but the most ive paid is £60-00 but that was for the nightmare on elm street boxset r1.i thought that was a bargain as everywhere else was chargin £100-00 or more with p+p on top.but i tend not to go over £20-00 and hardly ever buy r2 discs.

try www.movietyme.com.they did have a problem with crouching tiger but apart from that they get delivered within 4 days and tend to get the films 2-3 weeks before there release date.which is quicker than play247.
also its free shipping to europe on 95% of there titles.

the main bit chopped in this country is were craig fairbrass is playing football with hal on top of the cliff.from want ive read on other sites its had about 5 minutes cut from the film.better off gettin the r1 speacial edition.

hi mikey. try putting a vcd or a normal audio cd in the machine.apparently it re-sets something in the machine and stops the freezing.it worked with mine anyway.hope this helps cause its a pain havin to unplug youre machine every time you want to get your discs out.

TO A 15 RATING. I HOPE THAT THIS IS DUE TO A RE-EVALUATION BY THE BBFC AND NOT DUE TO THE FILM BEING CUT.IT WOULD BE A SHAME IF IT HAS BEEN CUT TO GET A LOWER RATING .

FOUND OUT HOW TO PLAY IT.SWITCH THE MACHINE ON.OPEN THE DRAW AND PRESS 7,7 THEN PLAY.IT GIVES YOU A MENU WHICH YOU CAN CHANGE THE PLAYER TO ANY REGION YOU WANT VIA THE COUNTRY CODE SETTING.CODE 13 IS MULTI REGION.IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT BACK.PRESS PLAY TO EXIT MENU AND PLAY YOUR DISC,
CHECK OUT www.ringos.co.uk. FOR REGION 1 FILMS.IT SHOULD BE UP AND RUNNING FROM 080101 AND THEY USE THE COMPUTOR FAIRS AND NORMALLY GET FILMS 2 WEEKS BEFORE RELEASE.HAVNT TRIED THE MAIL ORDER YET BUT IF ITS THE SAME SERVICE AS AT THE SHOWS IT SHOULD BE WORTH IT.

PROBLEMS PLAYING HOLLOW MAN(R1)

I HAVE A SMART 2000 MULTI REGION PLAYER AND IT WONT ACCESS THE REGION 1 HOLLOW MAN DISC.IS THERE ANYWAY AROUND THIS DUE TO THE REGIONAL CODING ON THE DISC.THE DISC PLAYS FINE ON A SAMSUNG 511 & 709.DOES ANTBODY OUT THERE HAVE A SOLUTION?
