Free Harry Potter stuff next week

Just heard some info of a really cool instore launch event for those who can get to London on the night of the book release.

The Oxford St branch of Borders are putting on a load of stuff on the including...........University of Wizardry workshops, HP mastermind competitions, face painting,fire eating, PS2 Quidditch tournament, treasure hunt, goodie bags, games and prizes and fancy dress competitions, and get this LIVE OWLS, SNAKES AND REPTILES!!!!

Oh and free drinks and snacks, pretty good eh?

There`s also loads of stuff going on at selected local stores apparently (Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Coventry, Swansea) so check yer local for details I guess.

I saw some good press on the new Sony Flash players, their HD5 looks good too.
Doesn`t have a radio but looks terrific, 20GB and with 2 days worth of battery life.

I wish I lived in Japan.

Oh god, looking rather podgy now after all those xmas puddings. Anybody recommend any good slimming plans/clubs?

Have seen www.edietsuk.co.uk/ which seems to be quite good, picked up a leaflet on int Tesco.

They have some nice case studies which are quite inspiring. Any experience or opinions on this one? Or with Weightwatcher?

Thanks, I will check out those. There`s also a new Sony one coming out I think (NWHD3) £250 quid. I read a review of it that seemed quite good. Could be easier to get hold of in time for xmas and is a bit more plug n play.

Thinking of buying an MP3 player for my girlfriend for xmas, got about £250 to spend. Is Ipod still the best?

It has to be quite easy to use as she is not the techy type. Any advice appreciated. merry xmas....barryls
