Terminated my Gremlin for now.
can`t get a decent fight without looking through profiles for half an age, shame really as it`s good fun besides....

I was just toying with an idea that might solve this
not sure on the code behind Gremlins, but to me it sounds like it`s easily implemented...
challenges expire in 3 days. if you have challenged other people you get a report on lapsed challenges and have to clear them with the click of a button.
maybe it can be made so that somebody who recieved challenges and didn`t take care of them within 3 days has to remove them manually as wel. that way lapsed challenges would still count toward the 7 challenges you can have waiting, putting inactive Gremlins on Busy fairly fast, and thus active Gremlins won`t be able to waste challenges on them anymore

I feel the same way, it`s VERY annoying to say the least.
tho I at least have sj around to be beaten up by (does bring back memories of when Bonegnasher was still alive :D )

I agree. or maybe an incentive for lower ranked people to accept anyway.
I`m in a positioon at the moment where I can challenge the guys above me and get my ass handed to me. bad. or challenge people below me and get refused, it`s fairly annoying :)
besides that, being ranked 7 means I can`t even send all challenges out to people above me, as there aren`t enough...

edit: maybe when you get a perfect loss from somebody with stats far above you, the looser gains 5xp instead of both recieving nothing? that way the stronger Gremlin books a win, and the lower ranked one can climb up a bit further....

sounds like a good idea...
esp if you stretch it out a little further, and grey doesn`t give xp. thatway stats factor into the xp equasion, and not just league rank, as that seems to be a weird system..as you can just have a lucky run of wins and race up the ladder, suddenly being outgunned on all sides...

as far as I`m aware the fact that you do or do not get XP is dependant on your standing in the league, and if the other Gremlin is much lower then you...
how then is it possible that I don`t get any xp for fighting (and winning) fights against Gremlins that`re actually higher ranked? or do stats figure into this equasion as well?
