I have just tried again for another hour to get this hack to work. Still no joy. I followed the instructions fully but nothing appears in the top left corner except the code you type in. Did this work for you Adrian first time??

I have tried typing in the code as soon as I power it on, then I tried doing it when it said load and finally when it says loading in the bottom right corner but all failed.

At what point did you type the code in. All you help is appreciated

Apparently you can hack them using an Aiwa remote below is where I found that info

Hopfully some one out there can find a hack that works with the original controller. At least i`m not the only one. Cheers Mike

I have followed the steps again. After typing the code nothing appears in the top left corner. Have you managed to get this to work with a version 5.02e firmware???

I have looked all over the net and lots of people are having this problem and it is due to this firmware

I have brought a Samsung M105 dvd player but I can`t get any of these hacks to work. Nothing appears in the top left corner after typing in the code. Please can anyone help?? I have the latest firmware, 502E or 520E

I got a Toshiba SD100E for £150. I haven`t had any problems as yet but I want to play region 1 DVD`s on it.

I saw a code on a forum saying press menu, 6,1,0,6,9,5 and then play

Then region 1 should appear on the screen. I haven`t got a region 1 DVD at the moment so if anyone tries it please let me know the outcome. Otherwise i`m going to have to send it to be chipped and there goes my warranty
