Virgin media (NTL) retention offer

Hello.
For most of last year I was fortunate to enjoy the retention offer from NTL cutting the cost of my 10Meg broad band from £35 to £17.50/month. Which could be got simply by asking for it (every three months).

I phoned up in January of this year and was told it had be re-applied but my February bill showed it was no longer in place. I again called up and was told that as they had changed to Virgin media they no longer did the retention offer but would credit me for the February bill as I had been mis-informed.
I tried the old "well I`ll have to consider leaving then as other ISPs are offering up to 8Meg for much less". But the chap informed me that Broad band in my area via BT would only give me up to 3Meg (True).

Anyhow, I have just phoned up and had the retention offer reapplied. Its there (I believe) for anyone who has 10Meg cable from Virgin just by asking. :)

Rescue Me - Season Three

Sky recently advertised that Season three was about to start (Friday 13th October as I recall) but that came and went and it has not yet materialised to my knowledge. Does anyone have any gen. :)

Alias Season 5

Is anybody who watches the current series of Alias puzzled like me.

SPOILER:
After rescuing Will, Sydney is having a conversation with Jack in which they mention keeping Vaughan (supposedly dead) safe by not revealing his whereabouts.

Did I miss something in the last episode. :/

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)

I confirmed via the Royal mail website that the 6th monthly bill I sent was delivered last week. Still awaiting confirmation from e2save.

P.S. it took three months and several emails to get the first installment of the "one month cashback" so I won`t hold my breath. :¦

Stargate SG *$% 1

I left the wife into the kitchen to do some ironing and watch her Holby.

I just settled in to watch the new series of Stargate SG1 and the`ve done it again tonights is Part 2 of 2 of the new series which for all I know now could have started weeks ago.

I just hope the`ve not stitched me up with Atlantis apparantly starting a new series tomorrow night.

Disgruntled and furiously searching the net for episode 1. >:(

Space 1999 - the episode where an alien with huge tentacles

That one didn`t so much scare as upset me as one of the crew that got it was a honey. :(

Before my time but the old films shown on the "Dont Watch Alone" series gave me the heebie jeebies.
I remember two in particular " The Tingler" - Scientist (Vincent Price) discovers that everyone has a microscopic creature living in their spines which grows big and feeds on fear. Looked like a big black many legged lobster but not as appetising. The other one was about invisble creatures that killed you by sucking out your brain and spinal cord through two holes in the back of your neck. When they became visible they looked like a brain with a spine attached I think it was called "The fiend without a face".

Thanks for letting me stay up late and giving me a fear of invisible brain sucking monsters mum. >:(

Mwah hah hah hah hah.....

Question for Alias fans...

Does anyone know if Alias was on Bravo last night (Sunday) as my Sky + failed to tape it?
But looking on TVtome it doesnt seem as if I`ve missed an episode.

RE: Anyone else getting p***ed of with those f***ing Crazy Frog adverts?

Check this out NSFW as an alternative but it also get annoying after 2 listens. >:(

RE: Bluewater shopping centre bans baseball caps and hooded tops.

If you are a Cap/Hoody wearer you could always <shock> take it off when you go shopping.

If you are there to shop and not to up your ASBO rating this shouldn`t be too much of a problem.

You`ve got to have a laff aintcha ;)

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Nokia 6230, Samsung D500

This looks like a great deal. My daughter has been after a D500 for ages. I`m thinking of getting one for myself just to p*** her off.

Excuse my ignorance, can you tell me what an affilliate link is.

Are E2Save reputable as I have never heard of them.

Thanks :)

RE: anyone get past level 14?

Ya beauty finished it with the help of some random moves.
My missus will be p***ed off. So worth it... :D

RE: Does anyone watch HUFF?

What do you think of him shaggin` Huffs Maw.
Then not regretting it and wanting another portion.

Back to Beth, did you not see her in the black sussies gettin dolled up for Clays opening party. She is class.

BTW did you recognise Judge York at the party I`d swear that was Barney Miller from the old cop show. :B

RE: Does anyone watch HUFF?

Never miss it.
Well apart from episode two "assault and pepper".

His wife Beth (Paget Brewster) is effortlessly hot.
Its an excellent drama full of angst.
Huffs mother, Blyth Danner (Gwynneth Paltrows) mum , what a total feckin bitch. :)

Hello
Thankfully I havn`t had any problems with my 3rd box and now the warranty has expired I have now installed a 160 Gb hard drive (which Sky are now selling as Sky+160).

I was previously directed to an excellent site for advice swapping the hard drive which was a fairly easy. everything Sky+

best of luck.. ;)
