S-Video to SCART vs SCART to SCART
I have the option of running a s-video cable from the dvd to a scart socket on the back of the telly (the TV only has scart connectors) or alternatively just scart to scart. Is there any benefit for either option?

Grey Patches on my screen!!!!!!!!!!!!
When watching TV or DVD in low light conditions i can see patches in the top corners of my screen. There are only noticeable when the screen is `blacker than black` ie. opening bit of LOTR, and they are dark grey. My TV is a Sony WEGA 32" (KV32DX30 I think) and I`m wondering if anybody has an explanation/remedy? I don`t have any additional speakers near the TV and I use a half-decent scart connection.
Someone told me they could be the shadow of the brackets holding the tube in place, is that possible?!
