RE: Free Broadband for life!

I have been with talk talk for some time, and have been very impressed with the company as a whole. I appreciate what people are saying, with regards to BB coming down in price, however I cannot see it getting any cheaper than free!! Thanks to the original poster, I for one have gone with this. Just watch the nose with them there dogs :D

RE: Asda DVD Recorders £69

I have the Cyberhome, and have had no problems at all. (I must have just been lucky). It also plays DIVX format discs.

RE: Wheres the catch???

Hi, I had a similar thing, only on reading the small print found that I could send off for the prize without phoning first. So it only cost me the price of a stamp. All of the prizes looked very good, and I won a holiday. However on reading the small print on the voucher found that it was a holiday for 1. If you wished to take anyone with you it would cost an extra £400. I considered sending off another voucher so that the wife would be on the same trip. They seemed to be one step ahead, as again reading the small print (by this time a microscope was required) it stated that if one person was travelling, they would put another person in the same room as you (unfortunately of the same gender).

If it looks too good to be true ….. it is.

RE: MISPRICE - Futurama Season 1-4 £14.99

Thanks for the post have taken advantage of this and had an email from W H Smiths confirming the order. At the bottom it states

No contract will subsist between you and WHSmith Direct for the
sale of products by us to you until your credit/debit card has
been charged. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your
offer and to have been effectively communicated to you. This is
to be interpreted and enforced with the laws of England, in its
entirety and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English
courts.

Have checked my `online bank` in which the balance has gone down by £16.63 which is the cost + P&P. At the moment they say it is out of stock. However as far as I`m concerned they are under contract to provide it.

RE: Too bloody good to miss - Sky+ for a Ton!!!!

I phoned some time ago, and have a date of 02/02. This may be a stupid question, however
do you need a new card for Sky+, or do you use your old one??

RE: cheap photo quality printer

Do not do as I did, and buy a Lexmark, great printer and cheap to buy, with good results.
However the ink carts are very expensive to buy. so much so, that it is cheaper to buy
another printer than replace them !!!!!!!

RE: Reduce your Sky package cost!

Thanks for the info. I am just about to have Sky+ put in (another bargain buckets forum)
, and was considering what package to `upgrade` too, to avoid the £10 charge. This seems
ideal, have spoken to Sky and everything posted is correct.

Thanks again

Simon
