RE: RGB Mode

Well its not really a pronounced green flash, its sort of just a wobble in the picture, like a flicker now and again in RGB mode, but not the other mode- you can sometimes see like a green line down through the picture in these flickers- i`ve made sure the scart is fully in and its a brand new one too.

RGB Mode

Hi, I need more advice from all you experts.

I`ve just got all my stuff connected to my new 32" widescreen- 3 scarts (from VHS, Sky, DVD)

I`ve set my Sky Digital output to RGB- but although its a sharper picture, I keep getting sslightly jumpy images from time to time- sort of flashes of green etc. Is this something to put up with with RGB connections or have i got a problem?

Cheers!

RE: Widescreen DVD problem?

Thanks for that mate, I`ll give it a go, wha does that GOTO bit mean though?

Widescreen DVD problem?

Hi, I was playing Saving Private Ryan (anamorphic widescreen) tonight and with my player set to 16:9 and my TV set to widescreen, the DVD plays what looks like full screen, with bits chopped off at the sides.

Any idea what im doing wrong?

Wiring Up My TV to appliances...

I`ve just got a new widescreen with 3 scart sockets (EXT 1,2,3)- I need to connect my DVD, Vid Recorder and Sky Decoder.

Any ideas what the correct config would be?

I had two scart leads- and needed another- so I bought a gold plated one- but it doesnt seem to work- i just get a second of audio and a blue screen on any of the extension options.

Help! Cheers

RE: Widescreen TV experts??

I think it is 100Hz yes, I`m not sure you can switch to 50Hz but you can switch of "Pixel Plus" which is a buzz word im sure- that electrical companies bring out to make people rush to buy them.

Widescreen TV experts??

Just bought this new widescreen tv (Philips 32 Inch w/Pixel Plus) and im happy with it- its just the picture sometimes seems a little out of focus and there is some motion blur (especially noticable in football matches).

Do you think this is just something to put up with due to the high resolution? or can it be remedied?

Thanks.
