RE: CD WOW - Is this the end of them?

A bit off-topic but I didn`t think it was worth starting a new topic.

If I e-mail CD Wow asking them to cancel an outstanding order, will they be happy to offer a refund? Or do they try to pawn you off with vouchers and /or say you can`t cancel?

RE: CD WOW - Is this the end of them?

Bah, just ordered a DVD from them today, hope this debacle doesn`t affect it.. I know that when I got the order confirmation e-mail it said:

"We are currently undertaking certain changes here at CD WOW! and are unable to issue confirmation in respect of orders placed.

We expect to resume normal operations shortly"

RE: LiteOn DD-A110 NTSC playback?

Damn. Thanks for the reply.

LiteOn DD-A110 NTSC playback?

I`ve managed to hack this DVD recorder to play non-R2 DVDs, but I can`t get the picture format to change from PAL to NTSC, so all my R1 NTSC DVDs look decidedly poor. Does anyone know how I can do this? Am I missing a menu command?

Thanks in advance

RE: DVD Soon Suck. Hope they go bankrupt.

Axelmusic.com are good, if expensive - customs-friendly though (they ship from within the EU).

I`d also recommend Caiman USA, I`ve had good service.

RE: Any places I can safely order a R1 boxset and noit get stung by customs?

I`d recommend Axelmusic.com. I`ve ordered quite a few things from them; their order tracking is very detailed and I`ve received all my items from them in 4 working days (they ship from Denmark and Germany I seem to recall).

S6 is £25.99 there, S7 £27.99.

RE: Play.com delays?

I had a couple of items sent Boxing Day, from both Amazon and Play.

AxelMusic - Highly recommended

Just recieved my third order from these guys (www.axelmusic.com), and I feel I must recommend them. They`re based in Denmark, and ship from either their warehouse there or in Germany. For DVDs over £18 they work out better than PlayUSA as there`s no customs to pay as they`re within the EU, and delivery is generally 4 working days in my experience. Customer service is also excellent, I often recieve replies in minutes, and in the `your orders` section the tracking is very detailed. The best company I`ve dealt with, up there with the likes of Play.

RE: So who`s the Gay Simpson`s Character?

From http://www.snpp.com/upcoming.shtml :

?ABF?? - Title Unknown In case you didn`t notice, Patty had always indeed leaned towards homosexuality at times. In this episode, Patty falls for a local female golf pro. Springfield legalizes gay marriage, and Homer becomes a minister by registering online. This may spell an outing for the love-stricken Patty. However, be on the lookout for a possible twist ending. This episode could be part of the FABF production line, or the next season`s.

It`s been established as Patty for a while; the problem is it`s only hit the mainstream press very recently
