Which Scart switcher box?
HELP! which scart switcher box should i go for?
I need 3 scart inputs.
I`ve seen(and liked the look of ) the trilogy2 from Lecktropacks.
I`ve also seen a similar model in Argos called the Masterplugs Scart switcher for £30?
Anyone got either of these?
Any help appreciated.
Steve
SVHS-2 phono---Scart
Hi,
can anyone tell me why my Thor SVHS and 2 phono- Scart cable will not give me very good quality when connected from my LGdvd 3620 to a Scart switch then to my tele?
I only have phono outputs or the SVHS.
Any help appreciated,
Steve
RE: Goodmans DVD-3500PK & the Phillips DVDR75
The 75, in my opinion is a doddle to use.
transferring old vids to DVD is as easy as plugging in a scart and pressing record!
RE: Cheapest Place for DV lead for copying from JVC Digital Camcorder to JVC DVD Recorder
1 day for delivery.
VERY pleased with lead.
A mate bought the same lead, packaged differently for £20+ and was delighted!

RE: LG DVD DA 3620- Advice please!
Hi Ste,
thanks for the reply.
I have thought about that one but i want to plug the scart into my switcher box, along with DVD recorder, video DVD player. Would this still work the same or will it not be SVSHS capable?
Any help would be appreciated!
Or even a way of connecting 3 scarts to my one on my tele?
Preferably with a switch
Cheers,
Steve

LG DVD DA 3620- Advice please!
I have a LG DA 3620 DVD player. Very pleased with it but would like to know the best method of connection.
Using an S-Video and 2 phono or 2 phono and monitor out, both to a scart.
As you will probably know this model is not eqipped with a scart.
Also any recommendations as to which lead to buy for quality/Value.
Any help/advice much appreciated.
thanks! :)
RE: need dvd player with 5.1 decoder in silver that can play dvd-r advice pls
Try any of the "Limit" machines in Richer sounds with 5:1 output.
I have the DVD8080Se(old model now) but it plays everything!
Hope this helps?
Best wishes,
Steve
What DVD`s for getting best sound for Home cinema
Anyone advise of some DVD`s to give the best sound effects?
I have played with Top Gun, not bad. the Best so far is the THX soundtrack on my region 1 "Finding Nemo"
AWESOME!
Any ideas, let me know-many thanks,
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
RE: What kind of home cinema system?
I Bought an LG DA-3620 from Richer Sounds, Multi region out of the box, DTS, Dolby Pro logic and 3 other sound settings from external sources. Cute little speakers that pack a punch, without being too obtrusive. FM RDS tuner built in! All this for £119.95!
I know it may not be the best brand in the world, but I am MORE than happy with it! the only addition I have made is 2 Satellite stands for the surrounds.(£30)
Highly Recommended as a budget set-up-EVERYTHING you need!
Home cinema set up.
As a total novice to all of this, I have hastily bought a Limit HC40 speaker package from "Richer Sounds". It is the one with 4 upright(3`+ tall) speakers and large black sub and centre speaker.
I am very impressed with the sound etc but my little un`s keep making the speakers "Sway" when they run around!
I have seen the Acoustic Solutions DSXXX in Argos with a pair of surrounds on stands and the rest to attach using brackets. They also do a set for £59.99, DS 133 I think?
What I would like to know is, I have 5:1 on my Dvd player but would like an input for my phonos of the tele. So which one is the one for me? One with a big amp, or the one without?
Will they power my DVD and tele?
Any help greatly appreciated!!

RE: DVD Recording & Finalising
I have bought and used these discs, EXCELLENT!
I usually stick to Philips DVDRW`s in spindles of 10 for £13.99 plus post.
These are a worthy back up!
