Hi lloyd , still can`t find out a permanent hack .
Clayts , Hi m8 . Like Lloyd I am also desperate to find the hack . i take the player to work and whilst continually pressing 1 works not being able to pause the film is a right pain . My boss doesn`t mind me watching a film but obviously when a customer comes in I have to serve them . It`s always at a good bit of the film .
So if there is anything else that I can try or u find out please let me know . Cheers

The answer must be out there somewhere . Bush will not tell me and richer sounds have sold a dvd player as multi region which isnt ( according to bush ) . We have to defeat this . there must be a hack . keep trying

Lloyd . Yes the hack with pressing contiual 1`s works . But i want to take it to work and have to pause for customers so it is not ideal .
Chapatti keep working at it you sound like the kind of person who will break the hack .

I have contacted Bush direct . They told me that the model bush pdvd 2000 is not multi region and that richer sounds are mis leading their customers . As yuo can imagine if there was a multi region hack they were not going to divulge it to me .
DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW THE HACK FOR THIS PORTABLE PLAYER ??

i am still trying to seek a multi region hack for my bush portable dvd player 2000 . Has anyone purchased this model from richer sounds . alledgedly they are obtaining the code .

Fingers crossed . I was waiting for the Richer sound pdvd but went for the aldi one instead . It appears then taht both Aldi and richer sound were selling the same product except aldi was £ 20 cheaper . Lets hope they come up with the multi region hack . Let me know asap . Cheers Smasher ( steve )

I have spoken to lloyd . The only hack that works for him is doing continual 11111`s . so we are no where forward . Does anyone else know of a hack for the Bush PDVD2000 which isn`y :-

These only work for Bush DVD player not the portable ..

i did some trawling on another site . those two hacks are for the bush dvd 2000 and not the bush portable dvd player ( pdvd 2000 )

I dont know if we are talking about the same model . I have tried noth methods
Method 1 will not work because you have to close the tray for it to read . so after typing in 0123 when close tray it comes up wrong region
Method 2 I do not have open tray on my remote . it has to done manually . and again this doesnt work
Still frustrated :( :(

I take it by the lack of response no one here knows another hack or one that definately works for this player .. keep trying out there must be one out there somewhere .... :(

Lloyd same here . can you translate into english how you have managed to play other regions and is it a permanent change or just each time you watch .
doing continual 1`s when you load the film works . but you then are unable to use any feature including pause , stop forward etc ...

Just tried it 8888 doesnt work but 0000 still does . have also found out that if i set it to region 0 it will take all region disks withour having to change regions each time .
Bush pdvd 2000 from aldi
Does anyone know if there is a hack for this player
opening lid and trying 0123 then play
going to preferences and doing 1 3 6 9 and
openeing lid and trying 2001 then play
none of the above work .
I have sorted out my binatone just need to sort this out for the perfect set

In answer to your questions . setting the region to 0 appears to have worked . It has taken my region one and two disks with no probs Thanks for that .
the system does not have a cooling fan , just vents on the top to allow air circulation which the manual says should not be covered .
The system appears to take all formats cds , mpeg , mp3 player , regions 0 to 6 disks now i have managed to change it today . All in all certainly not a bad buy for £129 from argos .

This def works . Just tried it on mine
turn on player
press set up button
press zero four times 0000
then press next button ( my remote bottom right hand corner below word up )
new mode version appears
go to this mode and change it to whatever region u want
it will need to be changed back when want to watch region 2 films

After mush research and trial and error I have answered my own question . to get multi region on the Binatone Dp1800 i recently purchased from Argos . do the following it definately works
Turn on machine , without putting a disk in on remote press :-
setup followed by 0000
then press the next button ( on my remote , bottom right hand corner blue arrow below the word up )
a new mode new version appears . go into this and select whichever region you wish .
this will permanently change the region so you will have to go back in to change it back to region 2 .
Binatone Dp 1800
I have just purchased this dvd player . it sounds good . but two probs
1. does nayone know a hack to make it multi region ?
2. I have tries to connect my ps2 through the surround sound system using the optical output socket . When i play the dvd through the ps2 the sound only comes out of the right front speaker and is so loud it can be heard two houses away ( i dont mind but wife not too happy with the noise . ) Has anyone else had this problem and do they have a remedy
