Discs for NEC 3520A

Hope someone can help.

I have to replace my dvd drive and I have been advised to buy a dvd writer NEC 3520A from svp.co.uk.

My advisor has now gone away for the weekend and I forgot to ask what sort of disks I need to buy!

Could someone please point me in the exact direction (ie the actual item from the svp site that I should buy)?

I have no idea at all what I am looking for!!!

Heres hoping somone else knows :)

I somehow appear to have lost some of my favourites >:( and can`t remember the name of the site I`m looking for.

Its a DVD site - always had lots of info about money off from cdwow - theres a trading area on it and different forums for discussing gaming/hardware etc.

I`ve seen it mentioned here a while back too but can`t remember the name of it no matter what!!!

Hope someone can help me :)

codec needed to play movie

I have just downloaded my first movie from kazaa - it has taken forever and now I can`t play it :(

Its a .avi file and I am trying to view it using windows media player. However when I try to do this, at the bottom of the screen it says `locating/sending request for/error downloading codec.

The sound plays ok but on the screen is just a lot of patterns and line moving around!

Can someone help please?

saving text messages

I had a nokia 3510i and have now got a 6100.

Is there a way I can transfer the saved text messages that remain on the 3510i so that i can access them from the 6100?

The sim card seemed to hold onto about 10 of them but there are more that must actually be saved onto the phone itself.

If it helps, I have a cable that I should be able to use to `manage` my phone using oxygen phone manager (bought along witha disk from ebay of tones etc). However althought I could get it all to work with the 3510i I am having great bother getting any joy out of it at all with the 6100 (and yes it is a different cable and disk!!!)

I hope someone can help with my messages difficulty and perhaps even how to get the cable/tones up and running!

This is a great site - really quick and friendly service.

I would recommend that you buy windles rather than ghds - very similar product but they dont tend to blow up !!!

I`ve been using them for almost a year now and couldn`t be without them.

Does anyone know if it is possible to unlock a 3510i (on virgin network at present)?

Or a Siemens A60 or Nokia 3410?
