RE: Genus Vizo 1Gb Portable MP4 Player - Was £149.99 Now £49.99+extras
I have exactly the same problem with no picture showing when connecting to any TV. Contacted the Genus Support & they askeld me to return the cables which they will replace. Will probably do this but may try local Dixons just to see if they have any cables they can swop!
RE: Technica??? Portable 7
Do you know if this Technica Portable DVD is still available at Tesco`s? Particularly at any Midlands stores?
E55 - Multi Region Chipping by Remote
I want to set my E55 to multi region and was going to use a company called dvdcodes but they seem to have received some bad press on the 'bargain buckets' forum, though this seems to relate to cheap dvd's for sale rather than the rental of their chip-remote. Has anyone used them or indeed any similar company in hiring this type of remote?
They charge £20 for the rental and you return it in a SAE after using it, though I presume there is also a return postage charge.
Any views?
E55 and Ext Link problems
Thanks to Jimbo and Paull for their help with my E55 set up problems.
I still, however, have one issue which is in recording with the Ext Link from my Freeview STB. I set the timer on STB and then press the Ext link, which turns off the E55 as expected. Unfortunately, all that then happens is that the E55 almost immediately switches on and starts recording whatever channel is on the STB at that time.
Any suggestions?
E55 Set Up Problem
I've just bought a Panasonic E55 DVD Recorder on the recommendation of group members, but am struggling with the set up. I only want to link it with a Grundig 1500 Freeview STB and a Samsung TV - both of which have two scart connections. The Grundig and the Panasonic have aerial and RF inputs.
I have connected the AV1 Scart from the E55 to the TV and have connected the AV2 Scart from the E55 to the STB. I have then connected the aerial to the STB, with an RF lead connecting from the STB to the TV.
Whilst this seem to work for viewing, my problem is that I cannot seem to set up the terrestrial stations on the E55 to enable to record from them. Any suggestions?

RE: Sainsburys Mico R311 DVD Recorder - Now £49.99 (And some Home Theatre also)
Re : Maypole Store, Birmingham
Just to save anyone a wasted visit, I went there last night. They definitely have none left. There is one on display but this is new and is scanning at the full price. They now admit there were a few recondintioned, but they are all gone now, and they won`t be getting anymore.

Peteh
I`ve tried at The Maypole Sainsburys twice in the last week - they even scanned the display model - but both times thet told me the cost was £169. How did you get it for
lower charge - even if thats £99 instead of £49.?
As an aside is the £99 good value when compared to the £115 Phillips which has also been highlighted?
RE: Great Disney Bargain
This offer ended Sunday. I had completed the order form expecting the £10 discount to apply at the final stage. I contacted Woolworths Customer Services, who then agreed to cancel my order. I suppose this is the danger of following hyperlinks
