And another thing...

You are not going to keep your new job and flash new car if you don`t open you eyes when you are driving.

How the hell do you miss a dirty great Transit Mini-Bus sat bang in the middle of a bridge with a camera lens poking out of the side? Maybe you were on your mobile talking about how pi**ed you were the night before and how hot the curry was?

Likewise all you radar-recommending-twits Go and spend £3-400 of your hard earned cash when all you have to do is keep a lazy eye out for a fekkin big 3 foot square dayglow painted yellow box stuck 10 feet in the air at the side of the road.

No wonder so many of you pull out in front of motorcycles - "I didn`t see him" - "He MUST have been going too fast" It`s funny how you all squeal like stuck pigs when you get a ticket... but are very quick to point out that a biker was speeding when it suits !

Roads are for cars not people???

Roads in this country (unlike the USA and parts of the continent) are PUBLIC highways - PUBLIC meaning people have just as much right to walk along them, cycle along them, ride horses and bicycles along them and generally do anything else within the law along them just as much as INCONSIDERATE, MYOPIC, FOUL TEMPERED, MOBILE WEILDING CAR DRIVERS do!!!

This is one of the huge problems on todays roads is that car drivers will bully and cajole at every opportunity. Indicating seems to have gone out of fashion - is that seen as being a wuss now or something? Maybe it`s because the spare hand not steering the car has a mobile clamped in it holding some mundane conversation, or worse still typing out a text.

I`ve gone back to motorcycling. OK it`s not fun in winter, but bearable with modern clothing. However come the Summer months - sometimes I go looking for jams just to breeze down the middle and pi** off all those little metal boxes with occupants holding their highly important mobile conversations!!!

SUPERDRUG DVD PLAYER £64.99

For those in the Merseyside area Superdrug on the East Lancashire Rd by the Showcase Cinemas have three in stock - just been there this morning. Thanks to you people with instructions for the hack it plays SVCD and VCD`s fine. The only thing is what is "Macrovision" and should I have it enabled or disabled? Also how does the "Parental Control" bit work? By the way the only fly in the ointment is Superdrug had a 10% off day yesterday! Still £65 is good value, it`s a nice looking slimline jobby!
