RE: MP3 hunt need cheapness!!

If you take off the blinkered approach for an Ipod, then you would probably get a better deal.

I have a Creative JB3 which does more, costs less,( now out of date,)but not fashionable, but is sh*t hot at recording and quality and with 40Gb and can be expanded.

RE: External Hard Drive - About to ricochet off the walls - save it if you can!

You have not said what ext enclosure you have.

If you try a friends HD in your enclosure and it works, it would point to your HD being a problem. Older disks should be backwards compatible, but from the size you say yours is, why not bite the bullet and get a decent sized HD.

I know how you feel, I still use a 425Mb and 850Mb WD drives, just because they still work. :-)

New DVD player recommendation? *** Ignore

Hi,

I bought a Dansai 1010 from Tesco some time back (oct 02) and whilst not used extensively is now out of warranty and playing up.

I had it hacked for multi region as I create my own NTSC dvds.

I`m looking for recommendations for something similiar at about the same price or cheaper if possible. I seem to remember that it cost £79.99, but I`m sure there are better ones now at a lower price. It is really not used that much, so I do not want to spend any more than necessary.

TIA

RE: REgion 2 hack?

Uh Uh,

His is a JVC mdl XV-SA75

RE: Cheap multi-region DVD Player?

I`ve just bought the Dansai DVD-1010 at Tescos for £79.99 today.

That is Dolby and DTS, and the hack on this site for multi region.

You will need to order a free disk from the tesco helpline , which is on the dvd player when you buy it, to be able to play VCD and SVCD disks.

REgion 2 hack?

Hi,

I`ve bought a R2 DVD which a friend in the states would like to borrow.
As they are region 1, do the yank machines have a hack the same as our european machines do?, or ar they stuck with region 1?
