RE: Does anyone else own Empire Records "Remix" special edition on region 1?
Ive got it,and it plays fine -no problems at all.
I`d try it in another player first to see if its the disc,or your machine.
Sounds like a dodgy disc though.
RE: help buying predator 2
if you can wait a couple of months, theres a region 1 release coming out.
Supposedly with extras/documentary.
Depends how desperate you are :)
RE: Near Dark/Warner releases bilingual?
Thanks for the info on Near Dark .
Anyone know about the Warner Bros. titles just being released(Unforgiven etc).
Near Dark/Warner releases bilingual?
Please can someone tell me if Near Dark and some of the new Warner releases like Unforgiven have bi-lingual covers in the Canadian R1 versions.
Need to make sure before i resort to spending more on the USA versions if they do have.
Any help appreciated
Thanks.
RE: Contacting Movietyme??
Hi Jon,
I havent filled a form in,no.
It seems Craig just posted a reply-probably from working on the details on the thread.
Will let you know what happens.
RE: Contacting Movietyme??
Hello Jon,
i posted on the movietyme lost dvd forum on sunday,in the lost disc thread.
That thread is no longer on the forum,as it was 400 plus posts long, and has been replaced by a new thread,so i posted again.
Still waiting for any action as of yet.
Cynic mentions other dvd suppliers and luck, and he is probably correct.
Ive seen threads on here that flame suppliers i thought were very good,so i suppose they all have their faults.
I got answers to queries within 3 hours by email from Empire though,so it sort of grates on me the amount of time it takes to get action out of movietyme(or in our cases,no action at all).
RE: Contacting Movietyme??
Hmm y,you may be right Bob-I`ll see if i can get anywhere with movietyme,if not then its DVD Empire, and pay a bit more :(
RE: Contacting Movietyme??
Thanks for the link cynic, ill try posting in their lost dvd thread.
RE: Contacting Movietyme??
i got the initial shipping mail from them on the 8th of August, waited 14 days then mailed them. Then mailed them again a couple of days ago, still nothing:(
Contacting Movietyme??
I have been trying to get a response out of movietyme regarding a lost dvd(pulp fiction),but seem to be getting nowhere. They don`t respond to any of the emails i have sent them requesting a "lost mail form",to enable me to get a replacement dvd.
All the shipments they have sent to me before and since this lost dvd have arrived ok,so I am reluctant to flame them, but the lack of response is majorly annoying.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get them to respond ?
I am stuck for a supplier of american region 1dvd`s if i end up having to kick movietyme to the kerb,i cant stand the bilingual canadian covers.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks
