If the Linksys G Router works with 802.11b it will work fine but of course will only work at 11mbs. But for MP3`s and Pictures 11mbs wireless is more than fine. The Linksys Media Player can be a bit a pain or not with WinXP SP2 you are either lucky or not. I was unlucky and I did contact the useless Linksys support and found you can download a fixed version that works with SP2.

If you have a itunes library there is some custom made free software that replaces the linksys software not tried it myself but sounds good from here :-http://www.turtlehead.co.uk/
