RE: Connecting PC to Yamaha AV Receiver

Connecting PC to Yamaha AV Receiver
Can anyone help out there? I`ve just bought a new high spec base unit and I was going to buy a mid range speaker system fot it. I saw on one of the other threads that it may be possible to connect a AV system to the PC with good results. So up into the loft I went to retrieve an old Yamaha RX 393RDS system that I have. When I tried to connect it to PC however - nothing! Two ?s there4. One, is it possible and safe to do; and if so, how? Grateful for any help you can offer.
RE: Ron Atkinson resigns from ITV after making racist comment
Couldn`t agree with you more. The N word comes with a lot of political baggage. For anyone to say that it is not racists simply shows a lack of understanding of the history behind the use of the word. How those in power, typically white males, have used language to reinforce their positions of supremacy, rather subtley, over others including women is well documented.
Ron has form though. If you had told me someone on TV had made such a comment, I immediately would have asked "was it Big Ron"? - recalling that some time ago he made derogatory comments about African players during a World Cup. For those who dismiss all this as PC, remember it`s a slippery slope- one minute it`s F***ing N, the next it`s "let`s shoot em..."
RE: all in one printers

Cheers. I`ll check it out.
RE: all in one printers
Thanks for that Mark - very helpful. I`ll probably go for either the 5400 or 6400.
all in one printers
Does anyone out there know of any good all in one printers out there and/or deals on them.
RE: Help: What will go with my DSP AX620
DanB
Thanx 4 dat. My budget`s about £150, preferably zone free and something that can play back as many formats as possible, including good cd playback.b At the moment I`m leaning towards the Tosh SD220E. Don`t really need 5.1 cos of the Amp, but i don`t think it`ll make much difference. Some mags suggest you go 4 2 scarts, but I haven`t seen many of these around. Any ideas about good websites for discounted buys as well? Methinks I`m over-agonising about all this :>)
Help: What will go with my DSP AX620
Hi All
I recently got myself a Yamaha DSP620, and I`m looking for a DVD player to go along with it, preferably under £200. Any ideas
