Anybody solved A.I. disc 2 problem on Wharfedale750

Warner Brothers region 2 A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) wouldn`t play on my Wharfedale 750. Disc 1 (film) would go to menu, then nothing with any of the remote buttons. Disc 2 (bonus) just gave empty dark screen. Went through lots of forums looking for fix.
Looked at their firmware fix, it lists several different chips fitted in the Wharfedale. Mine was the CS=5EE8, one of the early ones, so I thought for 30 US dollars (about 20.00pounds GBP) I would give it a try. said if it didn`t work, return it for a refund.

Delivered next day, simple to fit and it cured my players problem with disc 1. (decided to keep the firmware fix)

Disc 2 still no joy.

Is it the same issue that affected Gladiator disc 2.

Does anyone know if Warner Brothers have said they will redo disc 2, if so any address for returns and replace as per Gladiator.

Region 2, Swordfish and A.I. discs from Warner Brothers seem to have similar problems, Wharfedale technical say there`s nothing they can do, it`s the way the discs are formatted.

My wharfedale 750 had the old chip in ( CS=5EE8 ) so went to the page listed below got a new firmware fix chip from Costs 30 US dollars delivered in days. Intructions on their web pages on how to fit, you will need to reset to multiregion after fitting. Also need to send old chip back. Cleared my players problem, the A.I. disc 1 (film) played okay but disc 2 (bonus) still blank. It may have the same issue as the `Gladiator disc 2`

Toshiba SD210E (Silver Model) Layer change problems

Bought Toshiba SD210E (Silver Model) with Multi-region mod recently. The sound can go very quiet when the layer change occurs on a couple of DVD discs I have played, the answer has been different every time to bring the sound back to where it should be. Back track on picture, switch off and on etc. Any ideas why sound should drop off on layer change on such a highly rated player. The seller said I should look at my system receiver before returning it.
System is:
Toshiba SD210E (Silver Model)
- connected to T.V. via 21 pin scart (RGB)
- connected to Sherwood 925RDS via coaxil Digital cable on Dolby Digital

Warner Brothers Region 2 DVDs problem on Wharfdale 750

Bought Swordfish Region 2 from Woolies, it went through to the menu then nothing. Let it autorun on timer and then it played the movie. Took it back and exchanged it for A.I. Region 2. This had the same problems that I have seen on the forums, i.e. disc 1 (film) went to menu then nothing not even autorun, disc 2 (bonus) nothing at all. Both discs required player to be switched off and on to retrieve. Is this a problem with just Warner Brothers Region 2 DVDs on the Wharfdale or can the player be upgraded to fix the problem. Also Inspector Gadget (Disney) goes to menu then won`t run off play. You have to go into scene selection to see the film. Any help on the Warner Brothers problem would be great.
