Check out the Play 247 website - according to them the Young Ones IS the complete series 1, and there is a list of eps to be included on the Bottom DVD!

RE: PAROLE OFFICER - SUBTITLE FAULT?
Oops! Might of helped if I`d said :)
It`s a BUSH 2004. As I say, haven`t had this problem before, and seems a bit of a weird one. If it didn`t play the disc, fine, not suited to my player. But subtitles? That`s a bit lame!
RE: Has Alan Partridge been re-released on DVD yet?!?!
I don`t think the problem was the extra footage. Now, I haven`t seen the official reason for the recall - I`ve just heard it`s been recalled through the grapevine - but I have both the vids and the DVD to replace them.
Now, the back of the first video states something like `Some material edited due to copyright reasons`. The only one I noticed is the absence of Joni Mitchell`s `Big Yellow Taxi` at the start of Ep1. The episode opens with Partridge fading down and saying `That was Joni Mitchell, blah, blah, blah`.
Looking at the disc, the music is on it. I would therefore guess, they used the unedited, broadcast prints to make the DVD rather than the video master. Whoops!
Anyway, just my guess, and the evidence seems to support it, but I no more than any of you so I may be wrong!
PAROLE OFFICER - SUBTITLE FAULT?
Has anyone else experienced problems turning the subtitles off on their copy of the Parole Officer? I seem to be unable to turn them off via the remote or the menu. There only appears to be English subtitles - no other languages or subtitles off!
Is this just my player? I`ve never had this problem before!
