Finally the Beeb have got their act together and are releasing Bottom & The Young Ones on DVD! Unfortunetely they are only `Best Of` DVDs but I`m sure full series will be released shortly and for big fans of the series (like myslef) even these two DVDs will be apprechiated.
The released dates are supposidly 17th June for both.

Calm yourself Dr Sparkster, we are men of science! Sparkster my good man, you have given me the news to turn my s***ty week on its head. I`ve tried searching google using the ISBN no. and all that comes up is that same BBC page, so we`ll have to wait and see.Still anything on dvd is better than nothing I suppose.

"Best Of" - grr, I *really* hate it when they do that!
I`ll be buying the DVDs anyway of course - but if, say, "The League of Gentlemen" can be given the full series treatment, why doesn`t "Bottom" or "The Young Ones" warrant it?
Oh well. Looks like I`ll have to hang on to my VHS tapes for a bit longer.

Check out the Play 247 website - according to them the Young Ones IS the complete series 1, and there is a list of eps to be included on the Bottom DVD!
