Hasn`t anyone found a hack for this new version of the player yet?????
How annoying, before I bought it I checked the Mulit-Region Hacks section on this site and assumed it was the earlier version of the player I was buying I wish I had read this forum 1st.
They need to update that and let people know that the hack doesn`t work on the later version of the player

I`ve had the same problem with Dinosaur on both R1 & R2 Discs on My Proline 2000DVD player (which is pretty much the same machine as the goodmans)
The screen just goes black and the machine locks up while trying to read the disc, you can`t stop it and the eject button doesn`t work even from power so I had major problems even getting the disc out!

This is a shame because this machine has previously played ever disc I`ve thrown at it even RCE discs

RE: Scan SC-2000 Macrovision

I just bought this player I ordered it monday and it arrived today (thursday) Plastered all over the box and in the manual it says that it is region 2 and will only play region 2 discs -
Took it home unpacked it. plugged it in and put in my region 1 copy of Romeo Must Die..and lo and behold it refused to play it!

I can find nowhere any region changing information.

Am I misssing something?
Guess I`ll be on the phone to Scan technical support 1st thing tommorrow morning
