Make sure you don`t rename the file that is downloaded from this site - an earlier post had it named incorrectly with an additional `t` in it. The folder structure is correct however so on the root of your disc there should be the RMTM0000 folder - that is 4 zeros at the end by the way and all letters are upper case. In this should be the SCARLET folder, again all uppercase. In this should be the file that you downloaded from the site, exactly as it was - don`t rename it. Ensure you burn this as a normal cd rom and finalize/close the disc.
Worked fine for me last night.

This is what I do - 1 movie per 700mb disc although I have a couple of 1gb SD cards that I can use. I also have a copy of my movies at about 100-120mb per film for on my PPC so I can take a few with me on trips. It will also be handy to use an old CF card to put WMA audio tracks on for playing instead of burning to disc - saves a bit of time.

Thanks for the update - I`m impressed it will read movies from a memory card as I do that with my Pocket PC. I will be picking one of these up for sure.

Just an update. I received my copy of Stargate this morning and it is the Director`s Cut, complete with DTS soundtrack etc.
I`m well chuffed with the price.

They call it the Special Edition which was only released in the US. The cover and release date on the web and the original price of £18.99 all point to this being the UK Directors Cut.
I`ve ordered anyway so I`ll post a message once I receive it.

Couldn`t agree more with Abraham Love. I also would not buy a Kodak camera through choice, I was only interested because of the price so I won`t be losing any sleep by not getting one of these cheap cameras.

Personally, I think we should just wait and see.
If those lucky enough to order one of these deals for £100 do receive it, then well played to Kodak, but lets not go slating the company when we have no idea what will happen yet.
If they don`t sell at that price, you have lost nothing, if they do, you have been very furtunate and scored a true bargain.

Both good arguments.
Kodak may, depending on the number of orders, `honour` the order but I would think they have as much right to turn round and say there was an error and then ask you if you wish to continue with the order.
We should just sit tight and wait and see. I personally would not blame them if they did not sell at that price although in fairness, it was on their website that this price was advertised, regardless of how it got there.

I must be bored but I`m gonna keep on reading this thread until the camera arrives.
Extra 32mb MMC is included. As for battery life, I have read mixed reports as to the reason for this. One guy claimed a full charge had this camera running all weekend.
I don`t think it is the best looking camera out there either but I don`t give a crap if the quality of pictures is very good which all the reviews indicate. Still a bargain in my eyes, especially with the safety net of the 7 day money back guarantee. The docking cradle and MMC alone would cost £125 from Kodak!

Yeh, I saw the digital zoom 3x but digital zoom is poor compared to optical zoom which is a true zoom if you like. Optical is preferred over digital but to be honest, most people will not have a need for it.
As for the web site still advertising, If it was an error, I imagine they would have noticed it and changed it by now, weekend or not. Businesses can`t afford to risk these kind of problems and usually monitor them.

Just my thoughts.
The camera is still being advertised as the special deal on their site so if it was a cock up, it would have been taken off long before now.
As for the battery issue, I ready a review of one guy who commented on this and said the camera would run all weekend with constant use on a single charge. The problem is in using normal, non alkaline batteries, not alkaline or the chargeable unit. Hopefully this is the case but at that price who cares. The only other thing against it is the lack of optical zoom but from what I hear, the majority of cameras have 2x optical zoom which isn`t that great and if you are used to a point and click camera, this won`t be a problem for you anyway!

I`ve ordered one as well, not exactly what I was after but for £100 with the dock and memory card, you can`t complain.
You do get the 32mb as well, it`s in addition to the printer paper. The contents only refer to the camera pack with is the first part of the special deal.
I`ll post when I receive mine and there is also the option to return in 7 days for a full refund if you are not happy. Can`t really complain with that, Kodak are a reputable company after all.
BTW, did you notice that Kodak sell the 32mb card for £45 and the dock for something like £80? This deal surely is a bargain!

I think your order details are stored on your own pc as part of a cookie. I would recommend clearing out your IE temp files and cookies to avoid this issue in the future. I`ve had similar issues with previous shopping appearing in the checkout but it doesn`t happen once I clear all that s*** out.
