RE: RGB Scart connection - Picture Quality (novice)

Hi
Thanks for that info

At the moment I have The Sky box in AV1 This is the only RGB socket.
The Video in AV2
AV3 is spare but it works also as the s-video in / Scart 3
Good scart leads are used.

I need to have every thing connected and working as normal but with the DVD as an extra. It doesn`t have to be on but at least pluged in with no wires coming round the front of the mashines.

I will play it all using the surround sound on the TV untill i get an amp.

RE: RGB Scart connection - Picture Quality (novice)

Hi

Thanks for writting. Yes i can use s-video on one of my scarts.

I was just trying to get the same standard of picture on the tv as i get from the sky box so this info is great to have.

Now that i have add some feed back on this mater i just have to get a good DVD player. I was looking at the Yelo 800 or Kiiri ????
some along these lines anyway.

Thanks Alona

RGB Scart connection - Picture Quality (novice)

Hi
I'm looking to buy a DVD Player with an RGB scart. I also have as most a sky digital box with RGB out.

Using my Toshiba TV with 3 scart sockets only the first one of them works with RGB, How do I get the best picture? Do I?
A. Connect the dvd to the 1st scart?
B. Connect the skybox to the 1st scart?
C. Get a scart splitter box connect it to the 1st scart or what?
Thanks

Alona
