Thanks for the info on the DVD Player. I also got the firmware upgrade from Alba but it won`t install because it is on CDR. What brand of CDR was your update on? I have heard a rumour that only discrite work (White Top).

I`m also looking at returning my alba 113 as it will not play VCD and Argos have told me it is being replaced by the BUSH 2013. Do you have any more info about this model? Thanks!

I have just tried a CD-R VCD and couldn`t get it working. Have you managed to find out if it is true or found a crack. Please email me at sillenehpetsyrag[at]moc.liamtoh with any info.
