the above is the hack for the Aiwa 170, which is well-known.
Or do you mean the Aiwa 290, which has been out a couple of years and has no known hack?

If you guys have got the sense to look in this forum for a hack, why did you buy a non-chipped machine in the first place? The prices of multi-region machines from suppliers on the Net are way cheaper than the R2-only machines in high street retailers, so why have you shelled out your hard-earned to the halfwits at Dixons, Currys etc?
