No its not duel, is "-"R only and it doesnt like cheap media.
orange bulk pak only writes at x1 speed.
If you do buy the write go for the ritek g4 dye -Rs they are more expensive
but do write at x4 speed with no problems

hi, ordered mine friday, delivered monday.
the box was a little tatty but the printer was as new!
the cartridges we already open and installed (1 black and 1 colour)
enclosed was a new manual , with a sticker from TROJAN saying it has a 3 month warranty. but also enclosed was a letter from novatech saying they had arranged a 1yr warrenty.
also came with usb cable
2 cds (drivers and mgi photo software.)
installed on xp no problems
although on website it says xp drivers need to be down loaded from lexmark web site.
Fansatstic value.

I have seen this kit on sale. for £88.12

I have limited knowlage of dolby systems and unfortunatly there is no additinal info on this product i can find apart from the manafacturs code tec 51 which doesn`t show on the teac website.

I have a cheap alba 104 with a goodmans 28in tv in a small front room aprox 14ftx10ft

due to limited spends I can not splash out £200.00 on a half decent kit

can anybody please tell me what this kit is like and if the price is any good.

RE: Asda special Rowa DVD-280

The Rowa has a pioneer main board although this gives a good picture quality (for the price) I found it to be very sensative to small scratches on the disc and had similar problems to those you have encountered.(being a pioneer it also means no region hacks) I took mine back and purchased an alba 104 from argos instead, due to the feed back form other threads on this site, and I`ve had no problems at all so far.

i have heard that the 104 has problems playing ultimate toy box (toystory) and disc 2 of gladiator 2 box set.
if anybody knows different please let me know, iam thinking of buying one

Rowa (asda 99.95 job) hacks required

Have just bought a rowa dvd from asda do any of you bods out there know any hack at all......all replys greatfuly received.

I`ve just purchsed one from Asda after my proline dvd1000 packed up.
Apart from the most ugle and useless remote i`ve ever had this mis plesure of using, it does seem to play problem dics such as martix and dinosures ok. will message later after i`ve tried mp3`s and cd and such
