Minato G1 multi region hack

Region 1-6

Press open-close,

when tray is open type in 0111
choose region 1-6
now close with the disk inserted,

Sorted a bit cheaper than a chip, also a bit cheaper is a device from sonel.com which turns macrovision off, because unfortunatley it hasnt got a remote hack, and believe me ive tried!!!!!

I was wondering if anybody knows if sonels MAC buster works with either the Minato G1 or samsung sv-dvd1e?
Im considering buying one and was hoping somebody could advise me if or not its a good idea?

I was wondering if there is anybody out there who knows of a remote hack to disable macrovision on the Minato DVD-G1 the region hack is simply 0111 when the tray door is open then choose which region eg. 1-6!

How the HACK can i do this?

Hi there if anyone can help ill be very grateful,

I have a samsung sv-dvd1e vcr/dvd player and when recording a region 1 disc i get a copyright message pop up on my screen and the recording automatically stops! ive been advised if i do want to record my discs ill need a macrovision remover available from (http://www.sonel.com) but i was hoping that somebody may know a way of disabling the macrovision to enable copying of DVDs?

Something I found useful was typing "macrovision removal" in the search box it brought up loads of threads on scart cables and scart splitters and i do believe sombody mentioned a tri-scaat convertor which i believe you can have 3 scart pulgs in at one time which may help with your problem!!

Did you buy the phono cable that sonel are selling? i have no idea if i would need one!!!

I have a Samsug sv-dvd1e and was wondering if i bought a macrovision remover would i be able to copy copyrighted discs straight onto vhs? i ask because i recently purchased Down To Earth but have so far been unable to make back ups for family!!

1)12 VOLT POWER SUPPLY
2)PHONO / SCART ADAPTOR

That they sell or is it simply the case where i can fix up the scart cable and that does away with the macrovision?

I just bought a SV-DVD1E yesterday and the hack supplied by tonjac is excellent and easy to use, about the dvd-vhs taping im in the same bout as yourself ive just tried to record a region 1 dvd but it is copyrighted! what we need to do is disable something called macrovision as this is stopping us from recording if i do find anything ill post it here for you and if possible if you find something could you post it here as id be very grateful!

Is there any sites or ways in which to purchase as yet unreleased dvds?
i.e. films that maybe have just been released in uk cinemas?
If so is it adviseable or should i stay well clear?
