Page 1 of For Sale: 2x Dell D630 laptops

The Mrs has politely asked that I reduce the amount of IT kit in the house, so I`m selling a couple of my older laptops. Both were corporate machines before I bought them, so they`ve seen a bit use, but they are actually in pretty good nick and the battery life isn`t too bad for their age. Specs below (from memory):

2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (T7250)
2GB DDR2 RAM (I might be able to scrounge up another GB of RAM)
80GB HDD CD/DVD-RW Drive
Wireless LAN (think it`s G, could be N)
3G Module
14.1" LCD (1280x800)
4x USB
1x Ethernet
1x VGA
1x Serial
1x Firewire
1x Modem
1x PCMCIA slot

I have been using them to mess around with various Linux distros, but I just don`t have the time or inclination to do it seriously. I will quite happily install the latest version of Mint on them before they`re shipped (or another distro if you prefer).

I`m rubbish with second hand prices, but from looking at various second hand sites and eBay about £80 seems fair(?). Postage would be at cost via your choice of courier.

Not interested myself, but just to add, we use a Dell D610, so a few models older/lower spec, and as a machine to surf the internet, watch youtube on etc it works fine. Work fine with WinXP, Win7, ubuntu, and Mint.

I`ve got one of those as well, but it`s the only machine I have left with XP on it so I keep it for legacy reasons! Maybe the Mrs has a point about my hoarding ;)
