On another forum they are having a go at us morons.
I`m a double moron. I am even watching the OZ BB too via Internet.

Actually, I would think (hope) people are getting tired of constantly slagging BB off - but no. It happens every year - the usual "morons" and "brain dead" comments.

I don`t understand why so many people get so worked-upped about BB - if you don`t like it, fine - don`t watch. I mean, comments like:

The same sort of things can easily be said about anything you don`t personally like - just look at all these people who watch football religiously and have "heated" debates and feuds with fans of other teams, and get genuinely upset when "their" team loses - that, to me, is just as "sad" as BB fans, (if not sadder.... )

But at the end of the day, (as I have learnt) what`s the point in slagging something off, just because you personally dislike/hate it....? Everyone`s different and will have their own opinions in these things - there is no right or wrong. You`ll like what you like, and I`ll like what I like. :)

Because half the fun of disliking something is telling anyone who will listen how crap it is. To quote your oft uttered refrain "What? So im not allowed to have my own opinion now?". To be honest, I think the BB Haters have done pretty well to stay out of this forum.

I do get p***ed off when people think they have the right to insult you because you watch BB.

There`s always the underlying suggestion that it is somehow "effeminate" to watch it but watching football makes you a man (I am a football fan BTW, they`re not mutually exclusive). Football is as much about soap opera as Eastenders. If you took the personalities out of it, no-one would watch it.

Still, I suppose if it boosts their flagging ego`s by a percentage point by being condescending towards us, go for it :D

It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....

Well, personally speaking, I cuss the show, not the people who watch it. My mrs is an avid Eastenders fan, a show that is, by some margin, the worst thing on television. Its at least twice as s*** as Big Brother, but I dont think any less of her for watching it.

I do wonder HOW she can watch it, though.......

And, for the record, I used to be an avid Big Brother watcher, but I gave up midway through series 3 (I think), which was about the time they gave up any pretence of it being a socialogical study and turned it into a shrieking, honking pantomime, populated by mentally unstable attention whores that I would avoid in real life, so I certainly wouldnt want to watch them on TV.
