Used my new Visa/Electron card but when enterd all details told card not authorised......ect checked with bank told no prob with card! e- mailed cd wow not heard anything yet , any ideas?

Have you tried resubmitting the order later?
I find the payment system a bit clunky and sometimes it refuses to connect to the server and dumps me back out! Always get there eventually though.

Its my card they hate! sent them an e-mail and answer as follows,
We do state on our site that this particular card is accepted, but it only works with certain issuing banks I`m afraid. Until all the banks update their Visa Electron systems, I`m afraid all I can suggest is for you to use another card, sorry.

Went on the site today and noticed the picture of this card has been removed tryed again and they now state that they dont eccept Visa Electron cards , so waiting for my Switch/Solo card to arrive.

Electron Cards do not work with a lot of internet sites, SOLO cards can cause problems with some as well. A petrol station I go to wont take Electron or Solo cards either.

Electron cards are a problem but anyone using barclays merchant services will soon be able to use them for mail order transactions. nilesh
